Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026 · v1.0
This Cookie Policy explains how Oiva Developments Pty Ltd (ABN 93 693 621 457) (“Oiva”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on oiva.com.au and the Oiva platform. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (retained for a set period), and “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by another domain).
2. How we use cookies
We use a deliberately small set of first-party cookies:
- Strictly necessary: required to operate the website and platform securely, such as session authentication, security tokens and load balancing. These cannot be switched off through our site.
- Functional: remember your preferences, such as display settings.
- Analytics: help us understand, in aggregate and anonymised form, how visitors use our site (such as page views and referral sources) so we can improve it. We use privacy-respecting, first-party analytics.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies, we do not permit advertisers to place cookies through our site, and we do not sell or share behavioural data for advertising.
3. Cookies we set
The table below lists the cookies we use on oiva.com.au and the Oiva platform.
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session auth | Strictly necessary | Session authentication for the Oiva platform | Session |
| CSRF token | Strictly necessary | Security (cross-site request forgery protection) | Session |
| Preferences | Functional | Remembers interface preferences | 12 months |
| Analytics | Analytics | Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics | Up to 13 months |
4. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions are available in your browser’s help documentation. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website or platform from functioning, including signing in.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time; the date above reflects the last revision. Questions can be sent to hello@oiva.com.au.
